We've helped more than 3,000 couples through exactly the same process.

  • Step 1 - Book your wedding date

If you already know your wedding date, the first step is simple.

Book your preferred date and time using our live online calendar. There is no payment required to make your booking, so you can secure your wedding date immediately. You then have 7 days to pay the $150 booking fee (non refundable) to confirm your booking.

Once you've booked, we'll email you your own secure online Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form. Complete it online at a time that suits you, then book a short video call with us. During the video call we will witness your signatures and check your identification, all from the comfort of your home. We are available for video appointments 7 days a week.

Your completed NOIM must be witnessed and lodged with us at least one month before your wedding date.

Don't have a wedding date yet?

No problem. If you're not ready to book a wedding date but would like to start the one month waiting period, simply contact us and we'll email you your secure online NOIM form. If you prefer, you can also download the traditional paper NOIM form HERE.

Only one person needs to sign initially if your fiancé or fiancée is overseas and won't arrive until closer to the wedding. This allows the one month waiting period to begin while you wait for them to arrive.

Need to get married in less than one month?

If you believe you may qualify for a shortening of time under Australian law, click here to find out more.

Please note that applying for an Australian visa does not qualify as a legal reason for a shortening of time.

  • Step 2 - Email the identity documents.

Email the photos of passports (expired is ok) or birth certificates/extract and drivers licences or POA card and they do not need to be certified and divorce/death certificates if you have been previously married.

This can be received by us before the wedding if you do not have all the documents ready when emailing the NOIM form.
